Terms of Service

1. The Service

DiM is an online marketplace that connects non governmental organizations with consultants and service providers. NGOs can post jobs and consultancy opportunities, consultants can publish profiles and respond to opportunities, and suppliers can list their products and services. DiM is free of charge and allows an unlimited number of listings.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
• You must provide accurate information and verify your email address before your account becomes active.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.
• You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without authorization.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use DiM to do any of the following.

• Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful content.
• Impersonate any person or organization or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users, or send spam and unsolicited promotions.
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the platform.
• Collect or scrape data about other users without their consent.

4. Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you submit, including profiles, listings, applications, and messages. By submitting content, you grant DiM a non exclusive license to host, display, and share that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share the content you post and that it does not infringe the rights of others.

5. Postings and Listings

You are responsible for the accuracy of your postings. Job posts remain visible until their deadline has passed, after which they are removed from public search. You can edit or delete your postings at any time from your dashboard. We may review, moderate, or remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Communication Between Users

DiM provides a built in messaging feature so that NGOs, consultants, and suppliers can communicate within the platform. Personal contact information is optional and is shared only with the consent of the person it belongs to. You are responsible for the content of the messages you send.

7. Verification and Moderation

We may verify accounts through email confirmation and review by our team. We may suspend, restrict, or remove an account that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, misuses the platform, or poses a risk to other users.

8. Resources Section

The Resources section provides templates and documents to help users respond to opportunities. These materials are provided for convenience and as general guidance. You are responsible for adapting them to your own needs, and DiM makes no warranty about their suitability for any specific purpose.

9. Role of DiM

DiM is a marketplace that helps users find and connect with one another. We are not a party to any agreement, contract, or transaction between NGOs, consultants, and suppliers. We do not guarantee that any posting will result in a match, hire, or outcome, and we are not responsible for the conduct, quality of work, or performance of any user.

10. Disclaimers

The platform is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or completely secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DiM and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or opportunity arising from your use of the platform or from dealings between users.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DiM and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content, your use of the platform, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings, which permanently removes your postings and message history. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the platform in a way that harms others.

14. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update the platform and these Terms from time to time. When we change these Terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of DiM after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which DiM is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
